The Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF) helps learners plan their learning pathways whilst at school and in their future lives. The SCQF helps to ensure that all learning that young people complete in school is recognised with an appropriate qualification. Every qualification is assigned to a level on the framework and awarded credit points based on the amount of learning required. Using the SCQF, pupils can compare levels of qualification to ensure they are progressing in their learning.
