School Uniform
As we continue to promote high expectations and a strong sense of belonging across our school community, I would like to take this opportunity to remind families of our school uniform expectations.
Wearing school uniform plays an important role in creating a positive learning environment. It helps pupils feel part of our school community, supports equity, and reduces distractions so that learning remains our primary focus.
Our school uniform consists of:
- school jumper/cardigan, white shirt/blouse, school tie, black trousers/skirt, etc.
- Black or dark coloured shoes
These expectations are in place to maintain a respectful and inclusive environment for all pupils and staff. Furthermore an appropriate dress code supports school security and safety within practical subjects where exposed midriffs could lead to injury.
to clarify, pupils should avoid:
- Tops that expose the midriff or chest
- Clothing that is too short, sheer, or otherwise revealing
- Any items displaying inappropriate slogans, symbols, or graphics
We ask that all pupils come to school each day wearing the correct uniform unless alternative arrangements have been agreed with the House teams in advance.
We kindly ask for your support in ensuring your child comes to school dressed appropriately each day. If you are unsure about the suitability of any item of clothing, please feel free to contact the school for guidance.
Pupils who attend school not in uniform will be spoken to by staff, and families will be notified at the end of the day via Groupcall.
If you are experiencing any difficulties in accessing uniform, please do not hesitate to contact us. We are here to help and can support families in a range of ways to ensure every child has what they need.
Thank you for your continued support in helping us maintain high standards and a strong sense of pride in our school. If you have any questions or require clarification, please get in touch.
