Young STEM Leaders

The Young Stem Leader programme aims to give pupils opportunities to inspire, lead and mentor their peers through the planning, preparation and delivery of STEM activities within Woodmill, feeder primary schools and the local community.

Pupils will develop leadership skills which are highly valued by employers.

Young Stem Leader – SCQF levels 4,5 & 6

In S5 & S6, pupils can choose to take part in the Young Stem Leader programme. Pupils will work towards a qualification at SCQF level 4, 5 or 6. 

Each level of qualification is completed online and is internally assessed. The qualifications are recognised by the SQA and provide credits towards UCAS applications.
